nasty, how the hell could anyone survive that
My mate had a crash a bit like that went through the fence at the side of a race course made from 4x2 and about 6' long came through the car into the drivers seat back and stopped in the passengers foot well the only reason it didn't kill him was that he wasn't wearing his seat belt nutted the wind screen and then sat back down on the bit of wood
All he got was £30 fine for not wearing his seat belt lol

nasty! i've seen some horrific things like that, i used to run a police/insurance impound yard for McAllisters Recovery. once had an 04 Mondeo estate that was about the size of a smart car, got rear-ended by an artic and pushed into an 18 ton curtain-sider. they had to use thermal imaging to see if there was anyone other than the driver in it.
also had a volvo v70 d5 that hit a tree so hard and fast that it tore in half and burst into flames, crispy frying both 14 year old joyriders inside. there was still a burnt foot in it!
