A really good race

Apparently the biggest fact is that if Michael schumaker had finished all the races he retired he'd been leading the drivers championship

What?

If Lewis had won every race he would be leading too? So If MS came last in all the races he retired in he would still be leading the DC?

Awesome race, good result all round for lewis with Vettel and Alonso a few place back and off the podium.

Hopefully Lewis can make it 2 on the trot in 2 weeks

God dam Germans
No you plonker

If he had finished in the positions he'd even in when he retired, ad. Assuming he'd held his pole in Monaco and gone on to finish the race, and onlbviously the peeps who got the points due to his non finishes being moved back in th points to what they should have got had he finished, then he would be leading the drivers championship at this moment in time

Don't think sky, with all their masses of resources would be wrong, he's just had all his bad luck this season

I enjoyed it,Lewis had a good race.Greedy Ferrari .Its been seen before though people trying to hang on to the tyres and then all of a sudden . . . GONE !.Remember Kimi a few races ago,2 place to 14th was it all in the space of half a lap .Bad luck for MS again.Roll on Valencia

I will try and explain.

If Schuy had finished all the races he started this year (so all of them thus far) in the exact position he was in when he retired, he would be championship leader. The fact he retired from x amount of races means he isnt championship leader.

rich, this is passionford mate, always expected to be taken by surprise

glenn, it was an absolute belter of a race, one of the best i've seen in several years now although they were bitching about how easy it was to overtake with the drs enabled which sort of was the point, but it's also missing the point of having to race to overtake rather than simply giving the chasing car another 20 kph top end

Was a great race, great drive from hamilton and good call from
Mclaren to bring him in when they did.

It was brilliant watching him pushing that Mclaren to the limit. I really hope he keeps it up for the rest of the season, gutted for button but hopefully he'll be back on form for the next race so its both mclarens on the podium

if alonso had come in the next lap it would have made for some pretty good racing

the way his tyres simply fell off in the final few laps it's a wonder he didn't come in last

Fair point V-Man, must be true of so many celebs!

Altho Lewis is still a top driver, what i love is when the team radio to tell him to "push harder" you can really see from watching his driving and his lap times that he gets quicker... It hard as the press/f1 govn etc don't seem to like him much.

Poor Jensen, i just can't figure it out... I wish he was up there doing better, hes a capable driver in a capable car!

Also im loving Roman Grosean and team lotus!
