got these 2 blokes with a white van and in in hi viz jackets knock on the door saying hello love we here from the council to clear your paths front and back.. oh ok she said thats good coz i cnt get out its too slipery, anyhow they go do the job(quite well i belive) go back to my nan thats it love, that will be 20 quid please, she said you wot!!! they said well we can put the snow back if you want... basicly forcing her to pay them, i rang the council needless to say they wernt council workers, preety much done all the OAPs on the street there all bungalows for the elderly etc. i got on the phone to the plod and as per usual they coulnt do nowt but they did go and see everyone who got done, im fucking boiling my nan aint got a great deal of money like most oaps. basicly robbed all the pensioners

I had pikeys knock on my door and offer to clear the snow and grit my drive/dropped kerb for a fiver. Money well spent for me.
