The fusion is a good shout actually, they are fucking awful and badly made.

The cougar is just a pretty ( depending on your point of view ) mondeo, which is an excellent car.

Escort mk5 mexico - it was not worthy of the mexico sticker it had
Escort mk6 GTI - gti's are vw fords are fords
Escort mk5/6 RS 2000 - was not a flat front nor a nose cone not worthy of the badge/sticker.

From a sales/marketing point of view, I'd probably go for the Probe, or perhaps the Scorpio, but I really don't think either were bad cars.
And I don't think you could really say they've made a bad car for at least 10 years. Focus has been awesome since day one, the Mondeo is a class leader, so is the Fiesta, and anyone who says the Ka is shit is just being silly, it's been a massive success, handles great and was cheap, what more do you want? I'd say the only chink in their armour is possibly the new Ka, as it's based on a Fiat 500, and that would worry me
Going back to the Escort debate briefly, what a load of rubbish. For the 1996 arguement, you had two Golf GTIs, the god awful 2.0, which managed a WHOLE 115bhp, and was slower than the 1.8 Escort GTI which produced just as much power. And just before that, you had the RS2000, which was 150bhp and just as quick as the 16v GTI of the time. Just they were both dull as dishwater to look at a complete boat. Give me the Escort any day.
Moving into the MK4 Golf and they STILL produced that shitty 2.0 lump. And you think the Golf was better

probes, just for the fact that theres on near me 'done up' like the skyline in 2 fast 2 furious, but in the reverse colours, its blue with silver stickers.

for me it would be the probe.. the capri replacement, what a fuckin insult to capri owners. as for you lot saying the scorpio ultima.. i have to agree its a not nice looking car but they drive quite well..
