just been out in me saph, now it usually boosts just passed 20psi but i looked down at me gauge and its only reading 12psi. I have a nomad gauge whish is about 3 month old but am not sure its reading properly as me car still shifts along nicely and i am thinking a drop of that much boost would be well noticable. I pulled over and checked the boost hoses quickly but all looked fine apart from the one from the turbo to the intercooler which was well soft. Any thoughts would be appreciated cheers

 

if that much boost has droped then you must notice a drop in powere or it migh be a boost leak so that your gauge my only read 12 psi but its realy producing 20psi but i would say its a boost leak if your saying its still got the same powere it had not unless youve got a vacum leak and your gauge cant read it

 

Waste gate could be sticking open but you would feel the loss.

how would that work though if the boost is leaking the performance would have droped surely. I think my gauge has fooked up to be honest, i will try my mates gauge tomorrow and check the vacume hose to it, if that dont solve it i think i might just burn it out
