none metalics seem to start looking pink if not maintained well imo

I had a nova sr in red (first car), it had to be waxed weekly to keep it red otherwise it looked pink

I can see that being a problem lol - sorry had to.

I think red cars are one of those love or hate, it is a strong vibrant colour so you either like it, or feel like you stick out like a sore thumb in it.

Best colour to polish up, red always looks stunning, but worst colour if you leave it as all the bits fade at different rates leaving you with a multi pink car.

Had a Corsa sri, that was pink when I got it. Misses dad spent a weekend getting it back to red.
Sold it two weeks later. lol

The only reason im not keen on red is the fade issue, and some cars have superb paint work but all the plastics fade and it looks terrible.

never had a red car on the road bt i sprayed my 1966 mini metallic red but never had it on the road. Im not that keen on red tbh.

I am on my second Radiant Red Escort, Both have the fade issue, but when its all polished up and had some tlc time spent on it it looks fantastic!

If you do buy a red car i can suggest certain products that bring it up great....

Auto Glym - Extra Gloss Protection
Meguairs - Carnuba Wax

The SRP n EGP is fantastic for that final look...really makes the red looks great!
