Default New Keys?

I was just wondering , how/if I can get a new key made up for my sierra? Its looking a bit worn and doesn't open the boot without alot of tweecking these days. if so how much would it cost?

ford do replacment keys, cost depends on which type of key u have then the cutting cost, off the top of my head a key cost from £5 to £15 depending on what type, dont know how much they charge for cutting though

i got 2 spares cut at the normal key cutting shop, £10 for the 2 of them.

Normal ford keys are under a £5 each thats cut

but when the stupid keys are fooked,turning inside the plastic head you get the closest place poss for a new one.

A key is a key.

Also depends how worn you key is most are now very worn and hard to get the key number off.If to worn it`s door lock out and strip down lock to get the number about 1/2 labour from fords your taking around £30/40 quid


Your right dave a keys a key no diffrent where you get one

Sop your telling me to take it to Fords, and they can try. Ok how do I find out where the nearest one is?
