Back to the USA............
I'm into my final week of vacation and in a few days will make my way back to the USA (Los Angeles) and back to work listening to winging americans again. The good news is that this is my final time, I'm due to leave the company in 4 months time, with a nice little golden handshake which will be enough to start off my own little buisiness (Mobile Pressure Washing). So I'm looking forward to getting the next four months out of the way. That'll be 12years I've been working for P & O Shipping and enough is enough.
The other good news is that I've left the cossie engine with Karl Norris for him to turn it into a nice 420bhp fire breathing monster (Relatively Speaking). Could have gone for more bhp, but I wanted mid range torque above outright power. So that'll be something else to look forward too.
Anyway, had a great time back home, and for a change managed to be here for both xmas and the new year and my birthday. So see ya all in four months, and at last I'll have the cossie back on the road.
All the best to everyone

Anyone in the Pressure Washer sales buisiness can get good discounts on fully contained Karcher Industrial Pressure Washers. If someone can help out getting me good discount, I'm after a fully contained one, (Model Numbers HDS 1000BE or DE. It's about 5k, so any discount would be helpful.

Were working out of Los Angeles at the moment, doing seven day cruises down to the Mexican Riviera..... Will be back in Seattle every saturday from may for about four months doing the traditional Alaskan cruises.
This is my last contract working for them, as I'v qualified for my lump sum pension, so I'll be quitting in August. Starting up my own little buisiness back in the uk. Karl Norris will have finished my engine by then, so I'm looking forward to getting back home and sampling a genuine 420bhp. Hope we get chance to meet up sometime before I finish.
Keep in touch and if you get bored just e-mail me onboard the ship (Diamond Princess) at didseco1@princess.com.
Hoping to meet up with Alaska Cossie (Tom Meacham) again before I leave the company. Don't know if you've ever met up with him, he has the Eggenberger Escort Cossie (2.4 litre Long Stroke Engine ) Loads of torque and goes like stink.
All the best

WHINERS...... Yep, sorry about that.
But doing litigation for the company always puts me in the position of meeting the wingers. Litigation is so big in the US, compared to here in the UK where if someone trips on something they just say "What a prat I am for not seeing that" compared to " I want a free cruise for tripping up on that step".......

Unfortunately, there are more lawyers here than there are doctors and we're making more of the bastards all the time.
I haven't met Tom Meacham, but wouldn't mind the opportunity if I were to get up to Alaska.
I have a friend in Montana with a SWEET black EsCos with the Autronic setup in it. I can't wait to see that one too.
Give a shout next time you're up this way and I'll see if I can't make it down to the dock with the Mrs (to be)
Any chance the captain of your vessel could marry us in a civil ceremony ?? (Jan/Feb time frame)
That might even surprise her...
Cheers

Wedding.........
Your in luck, we are one of the few ships where the captain is licenced to conduct weddings. He does a couple every cruise and you get a good few freebies if you get married onboard. Normally an upgrade to one of the upmarket suites. All you need to do is visit the web site or one of the hundreds of Travel Agents and they'll arrange everything for you.
Captains name is Bernie Warner (A real character) .
Jan/feb we'd be cruising the Mexican Riviera.... Real party cruises compared to the Alaska ones which tend to attract the older cruisers.

RAB : If you ever see the Diamond Princess, come to the gangway and I'll get you on board for a few beers.
Just ask for me (Chief Security Officer)
Best Regards Jim
LAMB CHOPS : Sorry I missed you this time, with Xmas, New Year, and trying to get the cossie engine out of the car and up to Karls, took me the whole two months .... Didn't make any of the Hampshire meets this time, but I'll be back in for the show season (The middle of it) and then I'm calling it a day with the Cruise Lines and starting up my own little project, so see you in the summer.
