My nova: 1.55 bar = 457bhp, 2.1 bar = update on page 5

Yeah it is, although as ive got control of the rear toe, its possible to dial some of it out with a bit of toe in.
Rear suspension is working fairly well now, need to turn my attention to the front next, first thing on the list is more caster.

Good memory
We need another trip to Mallory Chipper!
Although I think I'll need to bring the Silver Evo now to try and keep up with you - it wasn't shabby on the old set up, so must be like a missile now
Yeah:

Its changed a LOT since then though, Ive cured the bump steer, its about 50% more power now, and Ive got a much higher rev limiter now.
also in that vid it was on narrow wet rear tyres as I trashed my slicks earlier in the day
so it doesnt really reflect how it would go now

In a straight line I dont think there will be a massive amount between it and the siler evo, but fuck me I wont get anywhere near you round a track, doubt I could beat the black one in terms of laptimes, what I gained on the straights you would soon gain back on the bends mate.

You really needed to be in my car to appreciate the lines mate, it had MASSIVE rear end bump steer, was a total fucking liability, it was before I had developed the rear suspension, so I was having to just keep the fuck away from potential accidents with it, lol
Im fine for finding my way around a track normally, but like I said on that day I was on some right dodgy rear tyres, and terrible rear bump steer etc, so was just having to go kind of where it wanted to, lol

10 or so like most years I guess, although I doubt many of them will be in the nova as noise is an issue.
That day at mallory was a full noise day, which is why I did it even though I was still running the engine in and the car was totally not setup at all, it was just a good excuse to put a few miles on and see what happened.

Much like Chip said, any time he properly prodded the throttle you can see it trying to steer off the circuit
It was also on semi slicks or something on the front and proper wets on the back after his original rears got chewed by a random bit of wheel arch. To say the handling was a handful was an understatement. Think he did well to stay on track full stop
He's done loads to it since, this vid was this time last year. Should be much better now, so it would be great to see the comparison I reckon

Wont ever be finished in the nova, as ultimately it would be better placed in a VX220, so I will either move onto something totally different, or "finish" the engine and then put that in a vx220, no idea which at this stage, guess some of it depends on if I stay working for Total Vauxhall magazine etc, got a few other ideas I would like to try for a project but im limited to vauxhalls for my staff cars and only have a finite amount of time and money to spend on projects in total.
