Yes it seems likely that it started to go under load, then opened up further as it cooled down.

Shit bit of luck, but at least it didnt damage any of the valuable components.

Saab 93 2.0 lump mate (the B204) - the one based on the shared GM platform

It will bolt straight up to my VX220 turbo gearbox, needs different flywheel to use my clutch, new loom to work with the autronic, new engine mounts, cam sensor adding, new manifolds etc, but thats all stuff that can be relatively easily achieved.

Bad news mate but personally think if you can find the time and the money its worth another shot. Most likely just unfortunate and maybe next time round you can get hold of a block with a background.

The B234 is very tempting just because its still a square engine but is 2.3 instead of 2.0, which will spool the turbo that bit sooner
