Looking for a new TV.
Decided to get a new TV and a PS3, and COD for when its too cold and wet for working on cars
I'm after a 32" to 37" LCD, 1080p etc.
anyone know of any good offers about?
ive had a look at the usual Currys, comet, argos etc. and can't believe the prices!

As little as possible
under £400 really,
i picked up a refurbished JVC 32" lcd with 160gb hdd for my mum off ebay a few weeks back for £303 so i cant really justify spending much more than that on a lesser spec tv even though i know that was a bargain.

If you're happy to use an external freeview box or sky + a seperate sound system, then worth it's worth considering these two that I can get:
NEC PlasmaSync 42" panel - £399 inc vat and delivery
Pioneer 42MXE20 42" panel - £410 + vat and delivery
Both are professional XGA panels, so 720P not 1080P but will easily outperform a £400 consumer tv!

Personally, I like Panasonic and think mine is awesome. If you are not bothered by brand I reckon you could get much more for your money, but the picture won't be as amazing.
Go to Richer Sounds, as they have good deals. Plus a 5 year warranty is only 10% of the cost of the television. So on a £400 television, you are talking £40 which is fantastic. You'll need the warranty in my opinion, as not many people can fix them, and not cheaply either.
