it is like ice the car looks so fake its like a old arcade game .....prologue is much better or need for speed with handling on pro or experienced whatever ir is no traction control or asm and your away ...i wont even buy gt5 if its like this shit

Whats the difference going to be between the real game then and the prologue that came out 2 years ago, and that I have completed? If its anything like the prologue then I personally won't be buying it, for me the actual game play has not improved over the GT generations, its just the same old game with a few tweaks and better graphics each time!

I got bored of the demo after 10 mins or so too.....

Well bar a tweak here and there its the same as GT3 that I've got on my ps2 at work

 

If the full game is like this i will love it, can make the cars dance about a bit untill the GT games of old.

Just had a play now the standard cars are crap cannot turn the TC off, the Tuned one with TC off i have managed a 1.40.456 on my 6th lap then binned it. Should be able to get into the low 1.39's i think but would be so much smoother with a wheel imo.

 

been playing it a little bit now- managed a 1:52.6 standard and a 1:40.3 tuned- its ruddy hard to keep it smooth and the traction control sucks on the standard car- i want to turn it off!
ranked 588 overall, need more practice.

cant seem to get below 1.41 tuned.

 

thats overall mind, combo of both standard and tuned - individuality i'm a fair bit higher!

 

I downloaded this but when installing, it gets so far and then throws up an error, it did the same when i tried the F1 demo a while back...

Anyone any idea's ?

Its not even a proper Demo, Its a comp to get into GT academy......So don't bite into it too much!

Just got my brother to pre order GT5 as my christmas present lol

 

I had the same problem, I removed the partial download, did a system update then tried again and it worked for me. I've not used my ps3 for ages, so had a few updates waiting for it!

 

Is there anyway other way I can get hold of this demo as I cant get my fooking PS3 online

 

nope, not unless someone, copys it onto a USB or something transfers it your system, But it is an Online Time Trial, Every Lap you do, it puts it on the net, dunno if you could play it properly offline

 

2.00 dead is all i can do on the standard car bloody thing wallows all over the place. not tried the race car yet.

 

Managed to get a low 1.39 but i think thats as low as i am going to get. I watched the reply of the fastest time set and that was with a wheel and pedals, it looks so easy to keep it smooth and i think thats where the time is coming from.

 

hi guys iv just got my first car well had it few months now fiesta rst and i just would like to know how i turn the boost up its running at 0.6 shown on my gauges and i also want to fit a boost control to turn up and down from drivers seat any ideas ????? thatnks alot im new on this to so dnt reli no hows to post things etc. thanks matt

Has anyone had trouble with their ps3 freezing up when you try to quit out of the game? Only just started doing it now and its running all latest firmware etc
