how realistic is the way Z behaves with the RWD

 

Only one car and one track to drive not the best demo lol,but first impressions was how slick it looks the graphics are stunning,had a bit of a drive and fuck me its not easy at first,a few laps i getting the hang of it some nice oversteer and can be corrected if your quick otherwise its spin off time

 

such a tease with the one car and one track ye the way you can move the car when it starts going sideways etc is quite awesome ! not easy by any means

 

Is it worth the download?

just watched a reply, cant believe how good it looks and the sound of the nissan to is amazing

 

Thats the one thing I hope they done right above all else in this game, the sounds. the earlier gt's had the wooshing of the turbos but well ott. Hope theres some mulit cylinder warbling and howling going on, spool noise, chattering etc etc

just adds to the experience lol

 

Just having my first play now. Using the tuned Z and the best lap I have got is 1'46.767.
the best online is 1'36.804.

I've just downloaded it and I'm quite impressed with how the car handles and how much easier it is to catch a slide compared to the earlier versions. I can't wait for the full version to be released.

They have majorly updated the sounds, Gran Turismo PSP has the updated sounds and they are SOOOO realistic, 2009 GTR sounds beautiful and the veron is probably the best sounding car on the game.

 

It's alright to be fair, I had not played the prolouge so was unsure what to expect, is the lack of car damage due to the fact that it's a time attack or is it not damageable in general.

My mate has just clocked 1'41.702, the guy who got 1'36.804 must be fucking pro.

It's shit.... Car feels like it's on ice, awful tyre noises and the sounds aren't that great either. Looks pretty though! Could only manage about 10 mins on it before I turned the PS3 off.

I think I'll stick to Forza 3.

 

Had a quick blast earlier, seems pretty good, 1:45.7 is my best upto now

 

which ice have you been driving on noises sound bang on sure your not listening to passing traffic?

lol- i think this may be a problem with the new GT, i use to think i was king on the old one- i think the reality when compared with die hard gamers might not be the same
i mean some of them have the full setups with custom chairs and wheels etc- no way will i be as fast with my gamepad!

 

i actually forgot how to play it went into first corner and hit the shoulder button to brake, forgot it was x and square controls

 

Managed a 1.45.456 in the tuned car but with a little more practise i think i can get a late 1.43 or 1.44 that should put me in about 3500th place lol

 

will get it tonight, see how it compares to forza.

I managed a 1.39 with the tuned, but i really dont think any faster is possible with a controller unless you have got nanometer control with your thumb, the throttle is either on or off.

 

throttle is only off or on if your using the buttons thats when its like playing driftworks
