Default Head Gasket!?

Ok whats the best head gasket to go for!?

2wd Cossie
Standard compression & engine
t3
greens
3 bar
chip
20psi
induction kit
stainless zorst
standard rad & 2wd cooler possible go to a 4wd cooler

Will standard be ok to use!? i belive that grp A & standard r much of the same!?

Comitec!?
WRC!?(over kill!?)
Random bit fo cardboard found in the bin!?
Turn the old 1 over & hope its fine!?
Do away with head gasket & weld block to head!?

Late Escort Cossie type - YB-1261 as good as the Group A
type (YB-0611)but a LOT cheaper £ 18.00 (ish)......good for 330 BHP

Welding the block too your head will stop giving you leak headgaskets, would sound logical because you wouldn't have one.

I'd go for a standard headgasket if you don't have further plans.
Watch that you buy the right one:
1) YB0611 (first generation standard headgasket)
2) Group A
3) YB1261 (last generation standard headgasket)

Watch that you buy the YB1263 (number 3), since this one is cheaper AND better then the group A one, it's used from escort cosworth.

We were thinkin the later spec 1 from the escort!

DOO! Also needs a full head set while your there Tone! This is for fatty as he just got a 2wd! give it a week b4 u get the parts though tone as he might bin it 1st! he is after my record!

seems like this car was a good buy

looks like headgasket is ok just a buggered dumpvalve leaking most of the boost

at least the rad fans are sorted now dan you can buy me a beer for that

Mountune 4 layer WRC gasket for me EVERYTIME

Yes it may be overkill on what you want but i would not touch a comitec one for shit

Then again, i would say that as the comitec gasket did damage my head and block and they have admitted it was a faulty gasket
