Can i limit how much bandwidth the xbox use's

My niece has come to stay with us for awhile and has bought her xbox with her and set it up on the network this is not a problem....

but now it seems that everyone else is suffering for her to play online like the laptops running slow and my connection droping to my ps3 thats if i can even get it online

I believe there is a way, but I don't know it. Its pointless though, if you limit her bandwidth, it'll be impossible to play online. lag is a gamers nightmare. Just have to limit her time on it, and play ps3 when shes off.
Only other way is to get a very quick connection, which would seem a bit pointless for a few days

I usually just throw the other PC off the network if whoever is using it is using too much bandwidth.

maybe not limit but prioritise the laptops at the very least if ya get me

You can prioritise your ps3 too through internet connection settings > custom, so this maybe the best way round your problem!

there should be a setting within your router, called QoS (Quality of Service) you can probably tweak around with that and give computer priority over xbox

never done it myself so cant help with the config im affraid
