I said in strength terms, compared to Mariuz (5 time worlds strongest man!) Kimbo's strength is like a wee rabbits...

People are waaaay off the mark when it comes to realizing how physically strong he is imo! Which will go a long way in a fight if it goes to ground.

Yeah Brocks size/weight is a massive advantage, especially when facing up to those heavys who can make the cut to 205.
If Mariusz has any sense he will look to fight in the same fashion as Brock, basicly look for the early takedown and use a decent wrestling base to keep his opponent on his back and G&P.

If he wins a few fights I wouldn't be suprised. Look how Lesnar was fastracked through the ranks to get a heavyweight shot

If IF he's any good we could have a challenger for Lesnar in the future?

Ain't noone in the UFC atm that could keep him under control.

Can you see any of TUF Heavyweights guys facing Lesnar...

the problem you are going to then face is the same as vince has created with the wwf/e in that the bigger the guys are, the biger the guys people will want and expect to see, and the bigger the guys get, the slower they get, but in the mean time, the smaller guys who are actually good will be overlooked in the mean time and it will take a lot of time and effort to get the public to get used to the idea that the smaller guys were actually better for the game in the long run

if pudzi did turn out to be special a fight versus lesner would awesome
long way off that though tbh, maruisz main problem is its gonna take a lot of oxygen feed them big muscles for 5 minute rounds, will he gass out? who knows
none of the tuf guys are any were near good enough to face lesner, not yet anyway

Mariusz is a legend in strongman, he goes all out everytime.

I think he'll do well in MMA, he has the genetics, the strength, and the mindset (he was really poor as a youngster and had to fight for food as I understand)

if you give the viewers a bigger and bigger participant, then the ywill expect a bigger and bigger participant
the problem with them getting bigger is that they aren't as quick or as long lasting in the ring, so the product suffers in the long term

and then you have the issue of people turning off because they don't get what they want

and then you start to downsize the participants and the public, who pay for their viewing when they attend the shows, stop turning up at the gate because the product is not what they want, nor is there a "name" to look forward to headline the event

wrestling went through the same thing over the past 15 years or so, relying on the same small group of wrestlers to make their big draw and then not bothering building up the next lot of talent to replace them, so if you don't have a big name headliner, no one really gives a shit

and it's going to go the same way with mma if they aren't careful, it's not as if they are going to recoup a multimillion $ contract if one guys out of action for a year and they are still depending on that one person making them their years bottom line

it's really easy to see the similarities between the 2, and as a 25 year veteran of wrestling, i know exactly what "draws" a crowd and what turns them away in droves, and putting 1 guy in who anihalites the opposition is goign to be great until the public decide that there is no point in simply watching a beatdown when they put him up against a no hoper, so you need to plan events months and months in advance and it's going to be a case of waiting and waiting

we can agree to disagree and i think that with mma being such a spread out event and not 4 nights a week, it won't get stale in a hurry, but it will get stale

as for watching him in wsm, the man was an animal and even when he was injured he still gave it 100% effort

I LOL'd hard at the bit in bold. wtf are you on??

As for the rest of what you are saying... You seem to forget that the WWF/WWE had a board of people who DECIDED WHAT WAY MATCHES WENT. i.e. If they wanted Hulk Hogan to be the next big thing, they'd make him it with dramatic storylines etc...

In MMA/UFC it is a real life event where Brock Lesnar(using as an example as i know you'll know who he is) goes out against any other challenger and if he gets beat, he gets beat, if he suddenly goes on a 5 match losing streak then his career at the top could be over, where as in WWE/WWF if they want him to be the man they make him win!
