I think he could have won it once or twice but his time has passed, Poundstone, Savickas and Travis Ortymayer are the new big dogs in the WSM circuit i think.
Will be awesome to see him fighting, true athlete.

Pudzian boxed for 7 years prior to him becoming a strongman.
He also holds a decent rank in Kyoshin karate (4th kyu) and was an amateur wrestler.
He plays Rugby union at amateur level.
And he was in prison for 18 months for beating up a Polish mafia boss.
i reckon he probably not frightened of getting in a scrap

well, assuming you have the ability, and i don't think he's gong to make the same mistake as brock lesnar and his first few opponents are going to be thinking "this guys a nutter, he's going to fuck me up if i dn't go for the kill fast" and that's going to give him the mindset to be able to do the job on them

No fighting background a good heavyweight will upset him...
If he strings 2 or 3 wins together guarentee he'll be in the UFC. Brock Lesnar out for ages now, he's got Mono (glandular fever) they'd love another freakshow muscleman to jump in soon.

I think alot of people are underestimating how tight this guy could hold onto someone if/when a fight goes to ground.
This guy can;
Bench press - 287.5 kg (632.5 lbs)
Squat - 380 kg (836 lbs)
Deadlift - 420 kg (924 lbs)
Clean - 210 kg (462 lbs)
Imagine holding 420kg in your hands? Thats like 4 medium-large UFC fighters combined.

All i'm trying to say is i wouldn't compare mariuz to kimbo.
Kimbo is a big brawler, big punches etc... but in strength terms, kimbo is a wee rabbit and mariuz is a grizzly bear.
Assuming mariuz can punch and take a punch, he'll do fine i rekon. Not saying world beater or whatever else but he wont be a joke.
