Default Is an "Outrigger" the same thing as a chassis rail???

Found a website selling "outriggers", from what i can gather it looks like a chassis rail but I'm not sure, will email the company to find out more if it looks like it's the same bit. http://autopanels-castleford.co.uk/w...0%20-%2093.htm

An outrigger tends to be a part that runs from the chassis at 90 degrees to support the body at say the sill area...

I always thought it was an openly gay person that worked off shore in the oil industry.

I learned that from Lambchop.

As said before the "outrigger" is the small section that runs 90 degrees off of the chassis rail. Most people that don't actually know what it is tend to think that its the jacking point so they tend to get crushed by a trollet jack. Had to replace one on my XR4x4 and got to do both sides on the Capri so fairly "Au Fait" with what they are.

Hope that helps make it a bit clearer.
