ok, it's leaking colour now, whats up with that?

i've put the cream on but when i touch the cream it's black, and when i looked at the inside of my jacket and on my jeans where i caught the arm, they have black marks on them too

is this normal?

Dojj - it isnt normal to leak, it should be dry. Perhaps leave it alone for the rest of the day and see it if it stops weeping? Or go to your tattooist and see what they say, as obviously we cant say for sure what is going on with out seeing it?

you will loose a little ink. i have to bigish ones going from my shoulder to my elbow. they both leaked a little bit. the ex wasnt happy when i left an imprint on her white bed sheets!!!

as to the pain, i enjoy it! im wanting one on my coller bone eventually...now thatts gonna hurt!

A little seepage isn't unusual, keep it moist with a good cream like Savlon in the time being ( also stops th eink staining the clothes too much lol.

A friend actually recommends anusol, yes as in the pile cream.
Swears by it, and he's sleeved the whole bottom half of one leg

Savlon is worst advice ever.

Bepanthen is what you need but you should only start to apply once it has dried out. Get the tattoo, leave it for a couple of days so it dries out by itsself then start to add bep when it starts to get tight. I have two complete sleeves and sit for 6-7 hours a time. Elbow bone by far the worst i have felt, but still love it and am already planning the next.

Was always told to try and let them heal naturally, all this pile and nappy rash cream is meant to accelerate the healing process and dry the tattoo out. Not sure how true it is, mine have turned out ok without any creams or owt.

Dojj, the leaking bit sounds weird, my Mrs had a cover up a month ago and that leeked ink out badly and was very hot, when we put her cream on it just melted on her skin. Has healed now but still to go back and ask about getting it recoloured as it's not 100% because of the leeking.

I've got our lass's name tattooed on my arm its in japanese(apparantly) but will be going/not as clear as its getting in the way of my sleeve. But i'm going for jap style anyway so it may stay.

it's JUST starting to, what i can only assume, is the scabbing up stage

puting the cream on i think made the "leak" more obvious as the cream itself was discolouring so i've stopped using it

it doesn't hurt at all now, unless it's touched so i'm still going out in the cold with about 15 layers of t-shirts on but bare arms

although everyone at juniors nursery said it looks really nice

no way would i get the mrs name tattoo'd on me though, but i might get the kids names tattoo's in punjabi on my other arm later on..........
