Default all you lot with tattoo's - update - it's leaking :(

you crazy fuckers, i've joined the club

but fuck me it hurts like fucking agony when it's being done it felt as if she was peeling my skin off

so i wimped out after the outline stage and called it a day

still, it feels much better even an hour later so i can't complain, now what's all this about it sticking to the bed clothes and shit like that, does it maen i can't wear a coat now or is there a way to cover it up in the rain seeing as it's not supposed to get too wet?

Use savlon on it 3 times a day, and dont get it wet until its healed.

I would not cover it up though, let the air get to it, thats what i did and mine was/is spot on

some say use clingfilm to stop any leakages, then ive had others say to just use bepanthen cream and to let the air get to it.

when i had mine i had to have my back covered in clingfilm, used the cream and it was fine, no scabbing, loss of ink etc

get it coloured in!! the outline is the painful bit as it is one thin needle drawing a line, colouring is a group of them and a lot less pain.

they did the tattoo
wrapped it in clingfilm
explained what to do in regards to cleaning it and how often to use the benapthan cream (which they supplied as well)
i just forgot to ask what i was supposed to do after i'd put the cream on and if it was ok to weat clothing etc over the otp

it's not leaking now i've cleaned it and applied the cream, 3 times a day i'm supposed to put it on after washing it with warm water, but, to be honest, it's a lttle it red but no bleeding or nasty touchy feeling when i rub my hand over it

feels a bit tingly as she had to shave my arm but other than that it now feels fine

if only it felt like that when i'd had it done

Leave clingfilm on for 2 hours (A good tattooist will normal put this on for you with vaseline) Normally to protect it until you get home and can clean it.
Use bepantham twice a day for 2 weeks and keep it from getting wet for 4 weeks.

My flatmate had one done around the same time as me, did none of the above and the diffence in contrast is massive.

it was all sorted when i left, they said remove clingfilm after 90 minutes, apply warm soapy water, apply cream, sorted, it's just that now what do i do with the cream on as it's not drying up, just staying a little tacky so i don't want to wear soemthing over the top of it but i need to keep it dry and clean (i'm fitting an exhaust this afternoon )

you need to use bepanthen nappy rash cream but as said above warmed up other wise its hard to rub in dont use cling film i did that before and it got infected and turned out horrible plus bepanthen stops it scabbing and heels a lot quicker it dont hurt though at all lol

Tape some kitchen roll over it then wear anything over the top. That let's the air get to it but nothing else.
If you think your arm hurt wait till you get 1 on your back. I had 1 on my spine and it took 2hrs. Now that hurt. The 1s on my arms just felt warm and fuzzy in comparison lol.

The applied the clingfilm with a little tape, and was just told to leave it on for a couple of hourse then get rid.

After that, just use Bepanthen. As long as you apply a very thin and even layer across the whole thing (not too much as it clogs the pores up and shouldn't soak in, just there to provide a protective barrier) a couple of times a day for about a week and you'll have no issues.

I have one tat, on my wrist, was told to leave the clingfilm on for an hour or so, and then remove it! Use vaseline/bepanthan/sudocrem etc on it to keep it moisturised and sooth any irritation. Was told NOT to soak it in hot water as it will draw the ink out...? but warm water to wash it is ok, just dont soak it!

They are addictive, i'm going in for more to make a full sleeve next monday, cant wait, i find the feeling really nice.

As said above, Bepanthen is what i was told to put on, twice a day, and dont get it wet for 2 weeks.

You big girl!

Sis is currently getting one extended...she sat for 5 and a half hours before...I'll see if she'll let me put a pic up.

I found that a cover up hurts more than the first time the skin is tattooed....or was that just me being stupid?

Quick Reply: all you lot with tattoo's - update - it's leaking :(
