Default Ive been pulled by two ladies . . . . .

Sadly they were driving a traffic car at the and they have reported me for no insurance
This happened just as I had come off a roundabout,a bit off boost in second and a quick change to 3rd an 4th and rolling along.
They were coming the other way,on goes the brake lights
I was already out of the car at the shop when they got to me with the how fast were you going line,35mph ish was my reply.Anyway in the car playing good cop bad cop<driver I didnt get a bollocking just got threatened with taking my car off me.It wasnt picked up by the ANPR but it comes back on PNC as no insurance held, they tried to ring my insurance which must have been shut being it was about half seven, took my details, had my mobile number gave me no paperwork and let me on my way Oh and my liciense is registerd at an address from at least 6years ago
I rang the local number when I got in and they can not find record of it,wtf
Anyhoo I didnt get any points and there is still 6months left on my policy,I even checked on askmid when I took the policy out.
Rant over.

so what are you ranting about? being pulled for driving to fast or for them giving you the benefit of the doubt and letting you go on your way even though their computer was telling them you had no insurance and they could have siezed your car?
sounds fair enough to me.

Tugged obviously
Fuzzy I wouldnt consider 5-7 mph faster over the speed limit just as I have pulled off as the worlds biggest crime. Its the fact as I have done probably 4000 miles this year even down to south devon and no one else has batted an eyelid,I just think as she was being pissy imo seeing as no paperwork was handed over.

Differemt roads and circumstances makes some places innappropriate to do the limit whilst others can be exceeded quite safely

You were lucky, plenty of people get their cars taken off them until it is proven they have insurance.

4000 miles!!! Crikey, you are fairly racking up the driving experience because that's ....

... not a lot!

I picked up my current car 30 September then parked it at the airport for a fortnight while I went on holiday, and it's now got 4500 miles on it.

try clicking on another thread or even better go watch the tv then. or perhaps read a book. motoring offences is something i can offer plenty of wisdom in as there wont be many with a worse record than me.
