Default camshafts

i'm thinking of changing my cams but to what i need advice someone said to me BD14 inlet and BD10 exhaust ? on a 2wd saph running a 4x4 head T34 turbo may soon be being changed to T38 maybe and looking also at new injectors and chip . will the pistons need cutouts for BD14? oh yer and it has a 4 layer steel head gasget after its nut amd bolt re-build its just had.

oh and i had low comp pistons fitted too what c/r i cant remenmber its wrote down somewhere

not sure on cut outs but from what I hear on here the bd10 is not a favourite, infact I think one of the msd lads were slating it in a thread a couple of hours ago lol.

Why didn't you pocket the pistons on your recent rebuild ?

I wouldn't run a bd14 unless i had cutouts

because i'm a idoit lol at the time of the rebuild the main thing was to get the car running and may be sold but i now have the cossie bug again after 3 years is there any other options

standard exhaust cam

why are you looking to change the cams anyway? what's the reasoning behind it?

and if you are looking to change the inlet then you will need pockets
