been around the Rs scene since 86 , never owned anything but Rs's , tried so many tuners in that time some good some bad , went to MSD in 2006 and would not now go anywhere else ,imo they go up and above the call of duty ,you will not be disappointed imo .

As I've said to you before Dave, you won't go wrong with MSD in my experience.

25-30 mpg, smooth driving, perfect starting, decent power making etc etc.

Very thorough and knowledgeable people

Well worth the trip then for the piece of mind - you have a lot of power, and want to be able to use it safe in the knowledge that it's bob on for your engine spec.

I'd get that done, and get out there and enjoy your car

of all the time i've been here, there have been probably 2 or 3 threads that raised questions about msd

and they were all dealt with in a proffesional manner with every single possibly aspect of what could/would/did go wrong explained in public

it may be a fair of trek, but if i were to get a cossie i'd go there to get it checked out before doing anything else, even though there are tuners as good out there who are much closer to me

Best thing I can say about MSD is the fact that cars tuned to 400/500+ Bhp drive like a standard car in all respects apart from what you would expect with a T4/ GT30 etc etc... Smooth cold start, smooth idle, no popping and banging around low RPMS, just do what they are meant to and pull like a train on boost ...

No brainer, get up there and get it mapped

I took mine in for a wasted spark conversion, 380 chip and siemens 55lb blacks, it goes like stink now and its more economical on the motorway than when on 803s and grp a coil pack.
Only downside is, theres a great big speed hump at the entrance to the industrial estate so you come away with a scraped exhaust and splitter
