I know of 2 people who got banned on Thursday of the Ban wave on the 3rd November , both had used copys of COD 6 but never plugged there internet on, just played the game with internet disconnected, turned there internet on to play Fifa or summit on Thursday and they were banned, computer and hard drive rendered useless.

X Box mate, cant copy PS3 as far as im aware, people have been banned with legit copys , takes 3-4 weeks for Microsoft to reinstate a genuine copy account(peeps who got it of play eyc) with an apology, still miss a months Call of Duty.

My hubby got his yesterday to !!! He has a PS3 and only plays online. He is in hybernation until the 18th (as he has booked leave espicially to play!!) and I have been banished to the bedroom to watch telly

Can't wait for this game as once I prestiged on WAW I did get bored with it despite 3 map packs. I just hope there are a few good maps with plenty of buildings in and not bare, ones like Ambush, Backlot, Pipeline, Strike and Downpour are good but Wet work and bog are horrible IMO. Mine's pre ordered so hoping to get it tomorrow.
Also read this on Wikipedia about their being two map packs and first being on XBL, obviously its Wiki so not to be fully believed but hope its true:

my mate also with xbox had this game on monday. he's got he's xbox chipped but also got some sort of thing on there where he cant be traced.
and he was online aswell. he was playing search and destroy. i saw
