Default Hit my van and driven away

Is this worth reporting do you think
I have just nipped to the shop so I went in my van(swb Iveco).Whilst I was sitting in it chatting to some one some stupid dick coming the other way driving a lwb LDV van has clipped the side.It did whack the mirror in but I cant tell if there is any other damage atm with it being dark and wet.I spun the van around and found them up the street so I know where they live and I have two witnesses. The stupid bitch who was driving argued with me as to which side she had hit for a kick off
She then said there is no damage which turned to I only hit the mirror
Her excuse is that someone who came the other way forced her over.It doesn't excuse why she didn't stop though.I have clipped the mirror back together and there does not appear to be anything major.Yes I know its only a van but its mine and not a shabby works van.Its a good job I wasn't in my car
Anyhoo is this worth reporting to the local constabulary ?

Yes but what I am saying is that Its pissing it down, its dark so I wont be able to see untill tomorrow.I dont care if its only a scrape,a scrape is a scrape and if I have not done it why should I have pay for the repair.I dont want to find something wrong with it tomorrow and be told I should of reported it.
God this has taken ages to reply as one of the fucking dogs keeps trying to get on my knee/computer/table because of the fireworks going off ffs

Check tomorrow, if theres no damage then may have to bite your tongue.

If theres any scrapes etc then she should pay to put it right no matter how big or small, its the principle isnt it

simple if theres no scrape you do it your self and then put in a claim.

oops did i just type that, what i mean is check it in daylight and if any damage put a note through her door asking for her insurance details and be firm in that if you don't recieve them within 24hrs your going the police.

i have had to put pressure on twats who think they can blag you with bullshit or time and hope you fook off mithering.

had a 93 year old bint do it to me outside the post office, she was deaf, unable to walk without holding onto me car and played stupid until she got bystanders to start saying its only a scratch, yeah a fooking scratch that wasn't there until a doddery old menace to society got behind the wheel and went and left the hand brake off and rolled into me lol.

i got told by the 93 year old to polish the bumper, then she spat on her finger and rubbed it .
the dozy old bat never knew and could not understand its textured black plastic and theres more chance of her doing the can can than polishing a textured bumper

she moved to let a chinese man who was delivering at the chinky take away in with his 7.5 tonner and just kept going into me.
then the chinese bloke goes "her car new, yours old it don't matter with old car" like its a flipping proverb or somthing

i was going to report her for being unfit to drive but her indoors talked me out of it

Cozzfather yip I agree
Fil that will happen either way
Rich that happened to me a few years ago and the bloke got out and said its ok I will pay cash,my reply was yes thats fine please give me your details. When he was contacted will a bill for an old sierra bumper and grill the insurance coughed up.I think it came in at £1150.
Its no where near the first knock I have had, when I have had a shagger of a car and someone caught me I didnt really care and nfa but after a bus squashing me into the car infront of me I kinda took a different perspective.
Its the fact as the cow just carried on driving full well knowing what she had done as if it didnt care that got my goat.
Well I will see tomorrow,I swear she hit the bottom half. Its difficult to tell because its all plastic moulded on a daily. There is marks and its probably like a banana behind it

People do tend to think if you're in a van it doesn't matter lol, someone rolled backwards into me on a hill a while back and didn't even get out or acknowledge they'd done it, till i jumoed out and tapped on the window lol! As said above, a note through her door for starters if there's any damage....you've got witnesses and you did approach her after she did it! Failing that, retribution can be very satisfying lol

So you are suggesting damaging a perfectly good panel, then putting in a claim for it to be fillered and painted?

Or am I missing something here
