As above, my heaters dont heat up. They blow air at me but whether I set it at hot or cold, its still cold. VW forum's suck baws and no one helps at all.

Anyone got any ideas?

They're getting warm but not hot. Certainly not as hot as I expect they should be.

could be a few things, hows your temprature gauge behaving?

could be a stuck open thermostat, but eventually this would get warm
water pump could be fubar'd
heater matrix could be blocked
heater valve might be knackered, can't remember its location

Had the same problem when I first bought mine a few years back but that was due to the heater matrix being knackered. If the feed pipe to the matrix is hot but return is cool then thats your problem. Was easy to replace behind the dash so should be no problem but thats if that is whats wrong. The system could just need a flush or could be a problem somewhere else but matrix is usually most likely.

My initial thought was heater matrix. The temperature guage is spot on. I'll have another look after I take it a run.

You could try back flushing the matrix, but if its knackered its usually a replacement job
