Default Is there any geeks about? making a image file bootable on dvd....

Basically ive got the image file on my pc, all i want to do is put it onto a dvd(2.4GB file) so that its bootable when i restart the pc.

Ive tried using imgburn and nero and neither seem to work, unless im doing it wrong? ive been "burning image to disk" im not sure if thats the correct way or not? i thought there was a different step to be honest, as simply burning it is like dragging and dropping it onto the disk drive isnt it? which is not going to make it bootable

Any ideas?

Here is the screen im on in nero, clicked burned, waited 15mins for it to finish and tell me its successful etc, but it didnt work.......

Try this, Magic Iso, I've used this for anything bootable. My avast doesn't like the file much, but just delete when done.

Then i think its recorder and burn image. Then just click burn

If that does not work then there is a problem with the image or the Boot sequence on youre PC

Yeah im starting to think something is wrong with the image file, as ive burned as an image and it never come up with any error etc.

The pc is set to boot from cd drive first, ive always kept it like that and i checked its not changed lastnight.

Strange thing is ive tried doing it 3 times now and when its done if i go to my cd/dvd drive there appears to be nothing on the disk, yet its gone through all its motions and said successful, so im baffled
