back in to their pockets thats where....they claim all this money out of us and what for?! does my head in!!!! 
just like the dartford tolls .... "we will charge Ł1 per car until its paid for itself and then it will stop" then in november last year they increase it to Ł1.50...that bridge/tunnel pays for itself on a daily basis

and the irony is the UK and Spain are the only european countrys left in recession and not recovering 
No surprise considering they waste our fucking cash on shit projects like this!!
People wouldnt mind so much if all the road tax, camera money, bit of fuel tax etc went on the roads!
If they spent all that money on our road network then wed have the best road network in the world rather than a network as bad as many second world countrys.
I really think UK is no longer a 1st world country but firmly in the same category as countrys like romania, ukraine etc and other backwards corrupt former soviet places.

the govermnet sold the bridge to the french, who don't give a shit if we want it to be free or not
as for cameras that catch speeding drivers, the whole issue of speed cameras is to make them as visable as possible in order to discourage peole from speeding whre there has been a series of accidents on that stretch of road, hiding them away and criminilising the drivers doesn't stop that, no matter how much money is generated
