men and women and colours.....
why do women seem to see about a million colours that arent there?
For instance.....
I would describe beige as "light brown" and chocolate as "dark brown"
Magnolia, cream and ivory are all essentially the same, theyre all "off white"
I dont understand how you can pore over paint charts for hours and hours looking at 6 colours that are all the same

hahah, mate, when I bought my house with the misses she wanted off white, found all these charts etc
I said, whack maggy up, but oh no, i don't want that she says. She spends 70 quid on some paint, and when it was up says 'I hate it'.
I went and bought a tenners worth of maggy and it was perfect.

ok as a woman! yes we know they are the same sort of colours but when we tell our friends we have decorated it make it sound posher saying 'duck egg' rather than light blue, or creme cameral rather than light brown ish, lol just make it all sound better! lol
you men r the same wiv ur cars, manytimes iv asked a bloke wat colour car they got, been answered with ice white, or electic blue etc!

The ones i usually hear are when they describe their hair colour...
"Oh its Auburn coloured", "My hair is a Tawny colour" and the best one "Oh, my hair colour is Strawberry Blonde"
