Default anyone know about freezers

so i was stabbing some ice off the inside top of my freezer and i did it a bit too hard and made a pin hole through the plastic, gas started coming out, now i cant tell if it was the freezer gas or just trapped air from the expanding from the freezing, it was only a tiny hole in the plastig

have i broke it?

its dead mate.

Now i might be wrong, but, if too much gas has escaped the compressor will not be able to cool its self propperly, and could well get too hot.

The last thing i would say you need is a fire.
