Default Sachs Shock Absorbers - Anyone had any experiences?

Anyone recommend or un-recommend em? Are they a half-decent replacement for standard items?

I know nothing beats a genuine new ford item, but they are few and far between, and would rather them go to the concourse boys. Mines a daily work hack & taxi for the wife n kids, so want it comfy (and dont want em to fail after only a year of service).

Any info much appreciated...

used them and they have been fine,i'm sure they make shockers for ford anyway though. used sachs clutches too and they have been ok.
i think they are part of zf now and they supply ford too.

sachs make loads of OEM shockers for a variety of manufacturers so im sure theyll be fine as a normal road shock.
