what size socket do i need??

Default what size socket do i need??

im taking my brake disc off my 1988 fiesta, ive managed to take of the caliper but haven't got a socket to take of the the centre bolt to get my disc off can anyone help??

the disc is rusted in place
twat it with a hammer if you are changing it
tap it gently with a mallet if it's going back on again

you dont need to take the centre nut off, thats for the drive shaft. should have a little locating bolt between wheel studs which you need to undo, then tap the disc off

that too, although it'll be rusty as fuck

But for future reference, the nut is a 30mm (or at least it is on my FRST...)

If rusted in place, turn the wheel fully, whilst jacked up and hit the inside of the disc, at various points whilst turning the hub, try and use a copper hammer as it works better.
Some, mondeo's in particular can be so bloody tight, that often they need to be broken off.
