Default Looking For Job Sites, But The Other Way Round.....

I'm looking to recruit an AutoCad draughtsman or two. Does anyone know of any decent websites where you can search for people looking for jobs? Had a search, but not having much luck at the minute.

No qualifications are particularly vital, but would need some experience/knowledge/understanding of the design side of the Commercial Glazing Industry (ie/ Windows, Doors, Curtain Walling etc).

Would you consider a sub contract draughtman?

Is this a full time position?

Puma_Dal (Darren) from here was after a CAD job not too long ago. He posted up a thread asking if there were any jobs going anywhere so i spoke to my old man and got him the name of some job agencies.

Might be worth dropping him a quick PM?

we used monster.com, you can be pretty specific on what you want and so cut out a lot of the idiots applying for everything.

They still apply though lol!!

Would depend on the cost TBH. We could use subbies if it gets to the stage where we have to, but going by past experience, it's not often the most cost-effective way of doing things.

In an ideal world, we would like someone who maybe had the facilities to work from home for a month or so, and then join us on 1st November (in a full time capacity, yes).

We've just recently expanded our drawing office and it's taken off a lot quicker than expected, and are getting orders and enquiries left, right and centre. Everyone's already doing overtime, and we ceratinly don't want to be turning good jobs away, but are running out of capacity!

Send it to India, so cheap and the drawings are PERFECT! I can e-mail you an example of some of the work. Also the time difference is good, they work through the night and is so cheap. You have access to as many CAD staff as you want. If you need more info PM me. I use a company all the time and they are brilliant.

Nick.

Nick, I used Cad operators in India, and if you need any thought going into drawings, then they are absolute shite.
India is fine if you want tracing done.

I know one looking for a job, up to date skills in AutoCAD 2009 and some experience in isodraw.

Trouble is he lives down here and has no experience in glazing.
