Virgin / ntl connectivety problems
Anyone else having problems connecting today in or around the Coventry/Birmingham area??
I'm actually on my iPhone cos I can't get online at all.

I did and the first available engineer comes out on Monday eveving,problem is they said many a times it at my end and it's not and I've had a day off work for nothing.

Was you this vague when you rung virgin ? What light's are on the modem, have you eliminated the router if you have one ? How many pc's connect to the net at that location ? What did you try to do to resolve it before ringing virgin ?

Fook me,I didn't ask for the firing squad to line up in front of me!!!
I only asked if anyone else had a problem conecting through ntl/virgin, I'm not stupid,I know what lights need to be on/off on my modem and of coarse i've taken the router out of the system,believe me when you've been customer of ntl's for as long as I have, it pays to know the basics and some.
Stu-in the past when I've booked an engineer to come out 2 out of the three occasions they couldn't even give me an am/pm time and of them 1 didn't even turn up at all.
