Default Any Sparky,s on here?(domestic not auto)

Just fitted a new bathroom light pull switch and also a new extractor fan(on existing wiring)
The problem is the light works perfect but the fan will only run on the extractor when the light is switched off????
The are two wires for the light switch and 3 for the extractor fan?

Regarding your fan,the red should be permanent live the yellow the switch wire and the blue should be the neutral, hope this helps. Kev.

Where have u taken the feed to the fan from?

One side of the pull switch is permanant live, the other switched live. You need permanent live, swiched live, and neutral for the fan.

Sounds like youve connected it right. I've done a few in some flats where the fan comes on when the lights turned off. i.e get rid of the shitty smell after you've done in there! But also I've done ones that come on with the light. Have you got the destructions for it???
