Default eeciv tps help

my m8 has just fitted a EECIV manifold and tps to his 3dr
its running a l8 red top ecu and a 2wd loom.
ive just plugged my iaw in and his tps isnt working properly.
can you run this tps on a l8 and 2wd loom?
weve drilled out the adjuster screws on the side of the tps and got the idle down to 6% before we had to pack up,
but it only reads to 77% at ful throttle, but with the TB in your hand you can see it is fully open and the springs/mech on the side is at the stops.

can he run this tps or does he need to adapt a pf09 to fit the TB? (which should read 0-80+%)
cheers

That chip was the one joe did for me on the dyno so it should b good.
Will b better once we sort the tps and get it idling properly.
ATM it idles at 1100 and the chips come off idle strategy at 1000 rpm so it must b over fuelling it's tits off at idle.

Yes you can use an L8 on a L6/L1 (2wd) loom.

As long as the EEC IV TPS offers the same output as a PF/09, ie 0.35 - 4.4v, then yes. If it's output doesn't reach 4.4v then you won't get a full throttle reading.

It doesn't that was my question,
it reads from 6%-77%
a pf09 reads from 0-80+%
I wondered if there was a way of making the eeciv tps work or if he has to change to a pf09?
Not a drama either way and I would run the pf09 if it was me.
