Default Zetec E Clear Cam Belt Covers

Anyone on here point me in the direction of these as they seem to be as rare as hens teeth to get hold of

Also in the chance I can't get hold of these, is it OK to run without the cover? Would really want to try get hold of a clear one though if I can. Does anyone know anyone who can make these even?

Cheers!

surely after a few seconds running you wouldnt be able to see anything anyway?
Any reason you want a clear one?

His username is 16vZetec or something, he used to make them but I'm not sure if he still does.

Or maybe it's Zetec16v? Something like that

I had one on my last Zetec Escort, but it wasn't one of his, mine was moulded and curved like the standard one, never seen another like it!

I wouldnt run without a cam belt cover cos if anything gets caught up in the belt it would wreck the engine

I know mate, I wouldn't do that really anyway, not worth it.

BTW how comes 99% of cosworth YBs I've seen run without one? Can't actually remember the last time I seen a pic of a YB engine without the cambelt arrangement showing that wasn't totally standard and original.

Same as some run an XE, CVH, Zetec. People like seeing spinning things Also some people lose bolts/break covers. Also sometimes sloppy work in not putting them back on.
