some peeps make me laugh on here..theres no such thing as a cheap 600 bhp,yeah you can do it on std bores rods and crank but if you drive hard and use the the power it wont last long..the pistons and bores will be out of shape in no time..also theres 600bhp thats realy nice and strong or theres 600bhp thats laggy as fuck lasts 5 mins and aint realy 600 bhp..everyones got 600bhp but have they??what jimbo said is the best route alround and exactly the way iv done mine..i built one the other year on std bores etc and t6here was piston slap inside 2k..liners last 10 times longer..

Porkies sierra was around 600bhp, it used IIRC
Standard 200 block with no liners
Standard Crank
Standard Rods


It got a massive fucking hammering, and it seemed to last ok.

That was built before martin started using CP's I believe, so would probably have been cosworth racing ones, but im into the realms of guessing now, so better to PM martin if you want a definitive answer.
