New Bird!
Meet Lill everyone!! i got her the other day! shes had a bit of a hard life up until now, so muggins has got her to look after now! shes badly plucked her feathers out where she wasnt treated as good as she should be! but fingers crossed in time, theyll all gow back! I just gotta stop the little witch from biting me now!

She does scream liek an absolute bitch sometimes! 
she talks a little bit, ive heard her say ello, and what! and she laughs and barks! lol
bless her, you can tell tho that she hasnt had a very nice life! shes quite small for a macaw
Im just looking forward to teaching her loadsa stuff, and in the summer seeing her with a nice bright gold chest again!
this is what she should look like when shes all better!

I have an african gray and its a wkd bird
it always makes me laugh but does my head in cos it does the smoke alarms/phones/my kids crying/barks.
it says hello charlie everytime i go near it but i cant make it understand that its name is charlie not mine
it says lots of other things too
i got it at 15 weeks old and hand fed it with a spoon for a good few months now it loves me but hates the mrs witch is a shame as i got the bird for her.
the parrot is strange cos it likes men but not woman

Your bird must be female????? the reason it hates your missus is that it is atracted to you ( a male ) this is not sick ,,its true ,, my mate breeds parrots and these birds usually attack the same sex ( if you know what i mean ) as they sort of fall in love with humans of the oposit sex

andy you spas!!! the bird in the top pics is Lill, the one i now have! the ickle pic of a macaw is cuthbert!!!! spastic! 
hmmmmmmm she really gets on with ed but not me! lie ya say is an arse cos its muggins that cleans/feed/wants her!! shes slowly getting used to me tho! ya just have to be persistant and patient!
Pual you are sooooooooooooooooo right! male birds usually bond with females, adn female birds tend to bond with males!!!!

They pull out their feathers because they get bored ,its a common problem with any caged birds although budgies seem to do better..They cope better when they can be let out to fly in the house or if thier wings are clipped,at lease be allowed to walk about regulary,
She looks gorgous and they are great pets if treated badly, so mnay people do not know how to treat them...
The only way you can tell for sure if its male or female is for a vet to stick a thing up its BITS!!!! with a light to see its internal organs,..not very nice, we should be grateful for not being a parrot....
The feathers will grow back, but if its a boredom thing, she will only pull them back out again..Good lukc

but then again, while hes out she might just pick up some bad language off the telly!

poor little girlie shes had such a hard life i think she looks reasonably well considering the grief her previous owners gave her!
