The woman's old dear has an African grey. I personally dont like em myself, and the noises it comes out with, high pitched screetches! can be annoying 
I remember when she was looking to buy one, their local pet shop had a parrot and it had plucked itself almost everywhere! 
Looked strange, heard this is due to stress / neglect?

we looked after a african grey for a bit!
whyat a fookin misserable fookin pet! the fooka would stoip biting me! so it got shown in the words of the gr8 Snopp D O double Gsey! My pimp hand was way strong! little shit never bit me again & i was the only fooka it would let touch it!

yes im sure the bird is female but it has gone off me and is now in love with 1 of my male friends
