great until they go wrong, everything is driven by a computer, ok if you can get cheap bits but like all Jap stuff it is over complicated.
Had a GTO twin turbo, even needed a comp for the spoilers

First time i took the rear seat out of one i nearly crapped myself when i saw the sheer number of ecu's etc buried away in there, fantastic cars when they are working but im not sure i would feel very confident about every REALLY understanding how it all works.

Saying that 99% of the time when things go wrong with them you can see what needs fixing fairly easy no doubt.

Go for it i reckon, just make sure you allow a fair bit of cash for stuff like tyres and cltuches if you drive it hard.

The R32 is a nice car but for me looks old now and i prefer the R33 shape the best.

If you get one, try and find a V-Spec version (very rare), as it has better (Brembo) brakes etc.

Set aside as much money as you paid for the car to keep it on the road though (same as a Cossie in this respect!)... .

R33 are fat ugly fuckers. R34 looks best followed by R32 (which is lightest )

All those that are suggesting R33/R34/M3 etc, remember there is a distinct price difference between an R32 Skyline and these other cars.

Its OK for the high flying City Boys like Dave, for whom money is no object, but here in the real world, money has to play a part!!

Expect to pay Ł8k-12k+ for a nice one. I didn't like the R32 at first, i thought they looked dated. I like them now though.

Sold my R32 for being boring...good launcher though ...every kid in the street shouts "skyline".....in fact if your a paedophile this is the car for you...works better than puppies according to rainbird

Oh and the price of parts is stupid...plus it wernt really a car for a DIYer ie me ...plus the tuners are a rip off
