Who else has a masterbater of a boss...
cus mine is giving me such a hard time now. 
Picks on everything, no matter how small (and get my line manager to give me the bolloking the wimp, wont even tell me face to face.) and I have worked so damn hard and I can't please him!!! 
Anyone got any advice they can offer? Its really starting to get me down, and I mean really down

I'm in EXACTLY the same situation atm with a new line manager who isn't too shit hot and it's shite tbh, it's just chaos with bullshit flying in most directions.. I was told last week "prehaps it's time you found something else"
& on that note that is exactly what i am doing, problem is most places are in the process of closing up for christmas and are unsure on how things will turn out in the new year so have reservations with taking on another employee.. I will find something though soon as it's a fooking piss take.. Something will turn up..
Oh, and find another job.

my old boss was a complete dick, nothing you can do except keep out of trouble mate, i was lucky enough to become my own boss , and i am now a total bastad to myself

I have 1 who is a twat and everbody hates him but he really hates me cause he knows I dont need to work there for money and he cant do anything other than dock my wages to me. He done it once cause I couldnt get threw on the phone and come pay day he had a big smile on his face, I just said to him.
You must be really depressed getting your pay, I mean I couldnt live on that sort of money, imagine working your balls off and not being able to afford the nice things in life. I would hate to be your age and working for this
These type of people only take from you what you let them, stand up for yourself. If you have been there longer than 12 months and he gives you genuine shite and you know 100% your in the right, tell him you will be making an official complaint in writing about him and watch him shit himself.

dont panic madmac im getting that way aswell
im pissed of with my job at the moment aswell ive told my boss
3 times today to pay me and the others as we will get no money
for 2 weeks over christmas, we get paid by cheque every thursday
i told him we will have to have it today as it will not clear in time
for christmas the reason why is that it takes 3 working days for it
to clear, we didnt get it so now we will not get this weeks pay or
next weeks pay,
yes im well pissed off

if you genuinely feel that you are being victimised or harassed etc there are several ways to go about it if possible.
raise a greivance if your company has a procedure in place
contact acas for advise
or document times, dates and what has been said to you. Eventually when you have so much info together take it to your HR dept who must act upon it

I used to work for my bro and his business partner.... the company has about 15 staff and we also used to get paid by cheque, and they used to always give it to you on the last day of the month AFTER 3 oclock so you couldnt bank it on that day

right ive experienced mind games from managers first hand my last job befor my accident was full of powertripin muppets, well i was like the kinna worker that does his job n no more but does his job exellently, the company i was working for (dsg) is the kind were your a number unless they want overtime outta ya
well what happend was i was security supervisor and the dept pretty much ran itself with me seeing to paperworks reports inspections so the manager at the time who was kool was happy with me to do the rotas aslong as the store was coverd so as ya do you make it as cushty as you can so it was 2 man 12hr shifts day on day off every other weekend off and early friday finish on ya weekend off class aye for retail, anyway a new manager came in thought he was abit of ladies man and all that trys to put the kybosh on my rota straight away

Can you imagine working at SCA in Norwich, the Owners have a Camera and a Microphone to be able to see and listen to the staff!!

He dragged me in the office (ok not kicking and screaming ) last week!
Asked me what my problem was as I didn't seem happy!!
I told him,,,,he was basically crap at his job, he didn't have a clue what was going on in the workshop or around him,,,,,,basically just a waste of spcae!!

However we are all still staying in the xmas mood,,,and I've been sitting here in fooking tears for the last 5 minutes as one of the fitters just come in with his New & Improved Overalls on for this after noon
This is why I love working here,,,cos the fitters are such a good laugh
Oh and if anyone wants a blow up Santa outfit, comes complete with mini compressor,,pmsl HomeBase are now knocking em out for a tenner,,,,,,lmfao!

Set up you're own, you only live twice! doesn't matter what you do, and whatever you do you will struggle for ages robbing peter to pay paul, but you will be free to make or brake yourself! and if it works and you manage to make a living for yourself the amount af satisfaction you will have is fantastic, and the best bit is that you don't have to deal with dickhead arselicking bosses who are blagging a living!

A place where i worked a couple of years ago i hated the gaffer, he looked after us sound, but he was so up his own arse i couldnt stand him, and told him so on numerous occasions, the only thing i mis is the amount of fiddles that we had going on
