looking to get a new phone and looked on a the o2, vodafone carphonewarehouse and phones4u and most are 24mths deals, which i dont really want

i just want a 12-18mth contract free internet

2-300 mins
300 text


not a lot to ask is it?

ive been with them 10 years +, im a fan.

as with all networks, they have fans and haters, ive had a few issues, but all networks have issues.


You could allways pick up a free pay as you go sim, stick it in a spare phone and see what the signals like for you in your normall locations? As with most networks

they dont cap the internet i assume?

yes and no

the unlimited net is subject to far useage of 1gb per month, with no skype, use as a modem etc etc

Ive had the web 'n' walk option since day one ( april 06 i think )

and ive allway excceded the limits, mainly streaming radio, and have used it for all the things they dissallow.


I rearly see the broad band speeds they say tho! but had the same with 3 and o2,

fastest ive ever seen on t-mobile is 1.2meg, normally around half that

I do use it for that, not sure how they would know, I dont think they can!


And im sure all the basic internet options on phone contracts dont allow phone as modem use.

i got my n97 from tesco's on 02
35 a month 18 month contract
600 mins
unlimited texts and unlimited web
also 500 txts when abroad as the unlimited ones wont work
i did have to pay 140-00 for the phone but it was when it first came out
