Default 200mph???????

seen this very local to me,i know i would never crack near 200mph but i know cars capable of 185mph

although not in this space inc braking but thinking of maybe entering for both the crack(mixing an old ford ) with the super cars, and both my grand parents died from cancer in the hospice that the money goes to

im going to try get andy g in on it as he could probably show up the main supercars

question is ,rod what do you think my cars capeable of in this distance?

looks like a laugh, 2km is just over 1.2 miles so you should hit a good speed before jumpin on the stop peddle !!

2k is 1.25miles.

My old 500bhp engine did 179.6mph in that distance in a mag shoot a few years back. That suggests 600 would see 187 if gearing is near optimum.

I dont know your Power but the figures above should give you a good starting point.
Its great fun so go for it. Andrew should be around 205 with 800bhp.

I wonder if this is going to be run like a v-max sort of event and be for road cars only, if not there should be a couple of realy quick Scottish cars able to run like Keith Cowie,Andy Forrest and Andy G as well as the supercar boys.

If that includes braking you will be a tad shy of the speeds i quoted.
