How about trying the obvious and complaining to whoever owns the alarm? Failing that, the local council would be a good place to start.

Local Council. If the alarm sounds reguarly then they can recieve a notice from the council etc.

Lady across the road from me decided to go away for 2 weeks, day after she leaves her alarm decides it wants to make the worlds most irritating noise.

Police obviously weren't interested, they just came to check the property was secure and told me to ring the council.

I rang the council and they said there was nothing I could do but ring the number on the alarm and get them to come out to it. It was 2am though and the guy was not answering his phone.

I ended up staying in a hotel that night as it was so irritating!

Dont complain about the alram because that gets you no where. I have a couple of wealthy neighbours with several houses in europe. The set their's when going abroad but leave their cats at home to roam about and set it off.
Council or police dont do anything with house alarms. Unless you say you think its being burgled!
