I'll be keeping an eye on this as I've had an E34 5 series in my mind for absolutely ages! Was looking at the 3.5 straight 6 though or the 3.0 V8. Wouldn't mind a 2.5 though at the right price and right spec. Does yours have the LSD lloyd?

i used to run a 540i as an everyday car and occasional track car. didn;t do to bad. even took it round curborough a few times bit of a boat but god fun.
i would take as much weight out as possible and stick an lsd in it out of a 525 sport. if its 24v you have 193hp. if its 12 v there about 150 i think.

rip the engine out and sell it some numpties on the e30zone for their 2.7 conversions - will get good money
