Must be an import. wasnt there a k reg RS turbo on ebay recently, that used to be owned by someone on here?
If i ever decide to import my XR4Ti, 3 dr mk1 sierra shell, it is a 88/89, so it would be an F, i understand that the 3dr was discontinued in 85 (please correct if i am wrong) when the xr4x4 was introduced, so would be the same kind of thing right? F reg XR4i effectivley

Got the shell from Eire about 8 years ago and took ages to figure out what to do. Then took even longer to actually do it.
In February I discovered that the SVA rules were changing so it all had to be rushed through to meet the cut-off date but it's done, registered 24/6/09 and the V5 shows it as manufactured 1991 with an age-related plate, and all road legal.
Right now it is back at the painter to get the Cosworth front bumper, mirror covers, grill mesh and rear spoiler fitted (I ran out of time for those bits!)
I'm taking it apart again over winter to sort things like the electric mirrors and roof, give it some Waxoyle inside the doors and sills, etc.
