i dont really need a tattoo to remind me of my kids names and birthdates.write them down in a notepad. itll be easier, cheaper and less painful.

i have a dragon swirled around my initials on my left upper arm, some tribal/celtic on my right upper arm, a star on my neck, and i have a sun/commemoration piece across the bottom of my back for my grandad
plans to extend both arms, left one will be sleeved, not decided which was to go with the right, need to finish commemoration one, very painfull around kidney area, was way too much, so stopped and never had chance to finish, also have plans for a leg sleeve around my left shin/calf and want a pin up style vampire, but unsure on position of that at the min

the closer mine got to the shin bone the more i felt it but i am a thin little thing! but overall for my first tat it wasnt bad.
and agree with the names of kids thing but if you want txt you gotta find a font/style you like and it can take forever!
always wanted a tat but with above issue of font and things never knew what to get so decided upon my sons handprint of about 10month old. i love it, is an exact copy of the hand print we did of him. and think the tat artist dude did a brilliant job.

Love your leg Tattoo, Del! Kind of what I was after, but not a hand print, but you know. Here was me thinking the leg would be pain free. I think that Tat would suit your baby's name above it.

I fell asleep during my last one for 5 minutes. Depends where you have it done also, on bony areas you will always feel it more. Good tattosists ( sp ) will never draw blood and have very miminal scabbing. Seem some shockers over the years.

Tbh i'm not really a fan of tattoos but that is really good
Nice way to go about it, rather than the norm.
