I think the problem with PF used to be dominated by a clique of people obsessed by what they saw as their own popularity, a clique that mercilessly attacked others to fall in line with or impress other clique members.

Fortunately most of these idiots left PF because their own egos grew too large and they couldn't handle the fact that they were only humans like the rest of us, thank fuck. I changed username (originally a 2003 user) and avoided General Discussion for like 2 years.

I congratulate all staff and moderators for finally fixing PF, it's now a great place to be.

Well I for one won't name any names. Frankly it was just attention seekers, the whole EGO thing that you used to see here was laughable, it's like some people just had no life whatsoever outside PF. Anyway Fuzzy you're not exactly new here yourself, so you'll probably be aware that people have left. I just happen to think some of the right people left. I changed username twice, just to avoid the attention of some of the people here - I've never done that on any other forum.

ive been here 4 years now and i cant really say its any different to any other forum im on. the same type of in crowd and in jokes , the same type of wind up merchants , the same type of muppets that always take the bait etc etc. different names but the same sorts.

Yeah maybe, I do think it's improved though. Having said that, only a couple of months ago someone decided I was a "prick" because I worked in IT, I reported the post, the thread then disappeared - perhaps it got moved to the Muppet room I don't know, but it's not like we will ever be totally free of idiots.

The human race is and always has been cursed with some nasty people. Unfortunately nasty people survive for evolutionary reasons.

PF is a great site and some good people on here who are generally good in taking a wind up or two so myself I just post or do as I wish regardless of any groups etc. The only issue is that it is a bit annoying that some people are untouchable on here, by that I mean if you say anything to them even if meant in jest you can have a tribe of people of your back, people who you've had no prior issue with before.

A while back I made a dry humour comment on someone's post which genuinely was just me being silly, it had no abuse, name calling or anything malicious at all yet this guy decided to stick up for said user, calling me a cunt and all kinds when we've never had a problem at all before. In fact both people have posted in this thread, somewhere.

As for the female attention thing, just reckon its a case of not many women use this site compared with blokes so any always get attention regardless of what they look like. It's a bit like that snooker referee, nothing special about her other than she's a bit rare and in this site's case there's some old, desperate chaps about. Has anyone come across a girl on XBOX live in their game lobby, much worse than the reactions on here, its like throwing a live sheep into a pool of crocodiles.

If a real good lucking woman signed up to this site I reckon it would go into meltdown, lol.

No, I don't know of every single user but of the ones that have posted pictures I've seen in the topics I've come across there aren't any real good looking ones so far. Just my IMO.

As I said when a woman enters a majority male place like Xbox live or a car site then they get attention whatever they look like because they are rare, always the same.

every now and then a fat munter rep comes on the building site and everyone stops and stares. if you seen her in the street you wouldnt glance twice even if youd had 10 pints.
