Default engine advice?

ok so i`ve spent all week in the body shop tidying up the rear end on my mk2 xr2t

and im thinking bigger picture these days
next winter she`ll be going in for a complete renovation!
inner outer sills rear quaters inner arches and new front end ect.

im torn though

at present she`s still 1.6 erst easy mods pushing 226 bhp 1.3 bar.

Do i
A. zetec turbo or 2.1 zvh with mega squirt(i could build the engine ect over this and next winter make any body mods when its beeing rebuilt before painting)

B. restore her and leave the tuning alone and put the money towards a 3 dr.

now at this time im quite limited to space and i don`t have the room for a 3 dr but it is achieveable and its the car of kiddies dreams so that would point to more tunning the fezza.

however

i love everything about my little toy and feel she`s quite quick enough
and im easily repulsed for e.g i hate the look of the efi inlet manifold(i don`t know why)

i want to make a desicion as there are some right bargins around at the moment and i would like to start collecting kit

im one of these guys whome needs a plan
with national day ect coming up would also make for great scouting for info on my next project

what do you think

oh i dont intend to sell the xr at anypoint if ever

Tony
